Matsu Sushi - Peterborough

Took my family here for lunch and had a great experience. Service was excellent. Food was fresh and extremely tasty would definitely go to this restaurant again

Matsu used to be the best place in Peterborough to get al la carte Sushi before the all-you-can-eat ones came on the scene. Based on that, I thought we'd stop in for some takeout and I wanted to try some genuine Korean Ramen. I knew something was amis when my soup arrived and it was a convenience product. Literally mr. Noodle tarted up a bit. My wife's miso soup was cold which I would have figured that even the girl packing the food might notice if the cook actually hadn't. The spicy tuna roll was tasty but my Dragon Roll did not look done by a pro. I'm in the business so it sure shows up when Corners are cut. 60 bucks I won't be getting back.

I go to the Park st location every time I am in Peterborough. Excellent, fresh sushi rolls and great service. It is also cheaper than the east city location. Lunch special bento boxes are all amazing and priced right. All Korean dishes authentic including BiBimBap, stews and ribs. Highly recommended for everyone, even those who don’t like sushi.

Food nicely presented and always fresh. Friendly attentive staff! Decor could be freshened up! Still always a plesant experience!

Nice authentic ambiance reminiscent of family restaurants in Japan. The Nabe options are a delicious choice on cold winter nights.
