Phenomenal food! I had the salmon with one side of potatoes, loved every bite. Friendly staff and perfect portion sizes!

I will definitely be here regularly: Dar Mar 7/19-- my friend and I enjoyed another delicious lunch in Messini's. Can't say enough good things about the food, the owner and our beautiful waitress Mel. It is always a pleasure to be greeted by such wonderful and friendly people. The Greek salad is the best in town and the chicken is absolutely delicious. Big portions... I still have some left to go home and enjoy later. I will be back: Actor

I don't live nearby, but I would travel any distance just to have a portion of their sticky toffee pudding. BEST. EVERRRRR!!! also, the service was amazing, place was clean, prices were reasonable, and food was so good. I never had a gyro, but this place definitely fell in love with Gyros! I wish I could give this place more than 5 because he deserves about 100 stars. The best restaurant ever.

After doing a quick survey of meal options in downtown Peterborough, I decided on Messini 's Gyros Grill on Charlotte St. I was so pleased with the place and what I selected...the generous portion included very tasty Chicken Souvlaki, crisp Greek salad, rice and Roasted potato. The meal had a home-cooked feel that was wholesome, healthy that really hit the spot. This was my very first visit. The best surprise was that Mel my waitress was awesome. She is very well known in Peterborough. Her great personality and service as always is worth the visit alone. People in Peterborough really trust Emiljana (Mel) regarding food... It completed a fun and great night.
