Alex Khaus - Petergof

Lovely place to visit in Petergof! The cuisine and the level of service was exceptional. Highly recommended!

ALEX HOUSE is located opposite the main entrance of the PETERHOF palace and garden complex, premises. Just a 2 minutes walking distance. The restaurant offers a delicious menue of tasty and high quality Russian dishes for reasonable prices. There is an English menue and the staff speaks English. Watercolor paintings of the palace, garden are on sale in the restaurant

The service is extremely slow. We order a beer and it tooks 15min to bring it and the second beer didn't arrive. We had two beefs+salad for 2500 rubles (34€ and althought they were tasty it took them very long to serve them. Quality/Price very low, I woulnd't recommend and wouldn't come back

Fantastic food. Each dish was delicately cooked and brought of the best of the ingredients. We had Duck breast, salmon spinach, beef steak and chicken with mushroom sauce. Good cosy atmosphere. Perfect for after long Peterhof walk.

So freaking cosy, u can't even imagine. When it was so badly cold outside, the are having a real fireplace in the main hall which makes the air smell so tasty. It isn't smth posh or luxurious. It is simple, tasty, home restaurant with tasty simple 4 understanding cuisine .
