Friday nights are especially enjoyable here. The bar also offers a pool table and a lively atmosphere from the moment you step inside. Whether you are passing through or looking for a fun stop along the A19, The Moorcock is a great choice. It is easy to find and even Google Maps can lead you there. As Arnold Schwarzenegger would say, "I'll be back!"

The visit was attended after a funeral. The pub is pleasant and welcoming, with good food and great service. There is plenty of parking available and the menu is quite good. Overall, I would recommend this place.
