Don Quixote Mexican Grill is a true culinary treasure that has exceeded all my expectations in terms of taste, portion size, ambiance, and overall experience.First and foremost, let's talk about the food it is simply outstanding! From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I had found something special. Don Quixote serves up an array of mouthwatering Mexican dishes, bursting with authentic flavors and made with the freshest ingredients. The chef's expertise shines through in every dish, and each bite is a delightful journey through traditional Mexican tastes. What sets this Mexican grill apart from others is the generous portion sizes. If you're someone who loves getting more bang for your buck, Don Quixote will not disappoint. Their servings are substantial, ensuring that you leave the restaurant fully satisfied and possibly with leftovers to enjoy later. One of the reasons I was initially hesitant to try Don Quixote Mexican Grill was because it wasn't located in the usual Mexican dining hotspots like Olde Town, Chesterfield, or Richmond. However, I am thrilled that I decided to give it a chance. The restaurant has its unique charm and warm ambiance that immediately welcomes you upon entering. The highlight for me was the meticulously carved horse designs on the booths, which added a touch of whimsy and transported diners to the world of Don Quixote himself.Cleanliness is always a crucial factor when dining out, and Don Quixote Mexican Grill excels in this aspect as well. The restaurant is well maintained and spotlessly clean, providing diners with a comfortable and hygienic dining environment.Overall, my experience at Don Quixote Mexican Grill was nothing short of fantastic. The food's exceptional quality, generous portions, and the captivating atmosphere create a dining experience that lingers in your memory. This hidden gem is an absolute must visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors without having to venture too far from the Tri Cities area.If you're looking for a Mexican grill that offers top notch cuisine, friendly service, and a charming ambiance, look no further than Don Quixote Mexican Grill. It's a culinary journey that you'll be glad you embarked upon, and I can confidently say that this restaurant has secured a permanent spot on my list of all time favorites.
I travel a lot for a living. And i'd have to say I've been all up-and-down of the state of Virginia and this is the only Mexican restaurant that I found that has good food. ? Steak Fajitas!!! ?
I'm picky and my wife has been a server for over 20 years and knows the ins and outs of restaurants. What started as one visit has turned that place into our every other week dinner plans. The owners and everyone that works there is exceptional. The food? I haven't tried everything on the menu but everything that I have tried on the menu is top notch delicious. Oh and by the way I don't do reviews but that's how good this place is when it popped up on my phone I just had to take the time and do this. I hope if anyone reads this and tries this restaurant I truly hope your experiences is wonderful as ours is every time we go there.
We were in town for work and craving Mexican so Google brought us here. It's a little rough looking from outside but inside there was the usual warm authentic Mexican feel with great service and amazing food! Definitely a diamond in the rough!
We got take out and this was our first time trying this place. The food was good, but we paid almost 50 dollars(2 meals and one kids meal) for us to have to share a small thing of the lettuce, guacamole and pico that was supposed to come with each individual meal. They only gave us one small container for the meals that we we purchased. The chips that come with take out are in a small peanut bag. My daughter's food was just kraft out of a box, which we don't give her due to dyes, etc. We will stick with El Cap.
