The White Horse Inn - Petersfield

The White Horse Inn is one of my favorite spots for lunch or dinner. We always make a reservation. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and offers a fantastic menu. I deducted a star because the place was a bit cold on one visit, and my dessert was disappointing. However, the main courses are consistently excellent.

We are delighted that this charming country pub has reopened after 18 months. Situated on the A272 between Petersfield and Midhurst, it’s a fantastic spot for lunch. The pub is full of character, featuring a lovely stone wall interior and a play area that includes a children's playground. The menu offers classic pub fare that is cooked to perfection, served quickly, and provides excellent value for money, all accompanied by genuinely friendly service. I highly recommend the White Horse Inn!

This is a nice, friendly pub that offers great value for money when it comes to dining. While you shouldn't expect gourmet cuisine, the food is quite good for the price. I would definitely return!

Very friendly staff, had sausages and wobbly baguette and salat, very pleasant and reasonable price will definitely go back, great to have a local pub open again
