Kubota Japanese Cuisine - Petersham

This is a very cozy, small local restaurant. The food maintains its authentic flavors and is perfectly seasoned. It’s a comfortable spot for family or friends to gather. The teriyaki chicken is one of the best dishes I've found in Sydney!

We tried the wagyu beef teriyaki bowl, the salmon bowl, and the teriyaki kingfish. The wagyu bowl was tender and packed with flavor, while the salmon bowl had a refreshing lightness, complemented by the pickled ginger that balanced the richness of the salmon. The teriyaki kingfish was slightly overcooked in some spots, but it was still enjoyable and flavorful. Overall, this is a great spot for a Japanese lunch at reasonable prices.

What a gem in Petersham! The Japanese food here is fantastic, and I can confidently say we enjoyed every dish we tried. The portions are generous, and the service is fast and attentive. I can't wait to return! #kubota

Amazing deal at lunch time! My favourite is sashimi assorted. Full of my stomach but also it is very delicious.Kids friendly and nice service though we are very happy to have Kubota our neighbors !!

Very authentic Japanese restaurant in my local area. <br/ <br/ We had an amazing lunch there on Sunday. Quality food made with fresh produce. I have to say we were pretty impressed worth the food quality and size for their price.<br/ <br/ The staff are very polite and helpful. <br/ <br/ Spacious ambience, perfect to go with kids and even with a pram.
