Not happy at all service very below average ...would have been treated better at a camping ground ..very out dated ... Needs a lot of work on customer service ...

The resort has a great location, looks like it would be great for kids there is a lagoon with inflatables and kayaks and sailing boats to try and a swimming pool there is a little golf putting course also but some of the rooms are tired and the food choice is terrible except for breakfast, we took a taxi to eat as one night of the food was enough.

Food is beautifulClean flavours and every meal that came out was great.

I took a sticky pork belly with fries as a takeaway food was good and there was a lot of fries.

Ok this was meant to be the highlight of our stay and i love seafood. It went downhill from the moment we were shown to our seat at 6.25pm. It was a bench seat like you find in McDonalds. So every time you swing around to face the table you belt the table with your knees or legs. Well ok ill live with it since the buffet sounds so great. ( I should have walked out then). Go up to get food and it lists Mooloolaba king prawns & Gold Coast tiger prawns. It did not tell you they were mixed together i expected separate. So some of the prawns had black heads so straight away that makes them BAIT. ( Who gives the OK for BAIT to be put out for a buffet? ) At least they do not say Fresh as they were old and had been stored in ice slurry so that has made them tasteless you could not even taste any salt to them. Might as well have been farmed prawns. I paid $75 a head for FRESH large SALTY real tasting Prawns not this low grade BAIT. Four times i went up for seafood and only two times were there any oysters but the first time i went up i had to wait 7 minutes for them to bring out more oysters and there was 9 of us waiting others just gave up. They were large and tasted good but what is the use if they are not there to put on your plate. The Poached salmon was a pile of bones by the time i got to it and a new one came out 15 minutes later but i was full by then and that was the same as the Whole baked reef fish. The Roasted beef was fine but they only had steamed vegetables ( Find that at a RSL club ) where to my thinking they should have been Roasted vegetables. What would i know i only have been in the food industry 27 years. Ok lets move onto the deserts. Well i would have if there was anything LEFT. I got up there and there was about 5 totally empty platters. I did manage to find 2 things to eat and id rate them as a 3/10 and 5/10. Hay the cream was ok at least. Then again the ice cream was near melting point it was that soft. Im not 100% sure i believe the ICE part of Ice cream means it is meant to be like ICE not whipped cream. Ill leave that up to them they are the experts .. ( NOT ) On leaving they did say see you next time. My reply was thats not going to happen.
