At best, it is a POORLY managed bar and serves dire alcohol absorbing fried stuff!!! The staff is AWESOME but managed and limited to the constraints of greedy and overbearing wannabe business woman. Ignore the poor maintenance and scares of ignorant safety decisions, you will recieve the best from staff. Eat at you own risk!!! Beer is cold. Far better options are available in a rich oil heritage, wholesome and worthwhile stop for any hungry/thirsty travellers. Honestly, Petrolia ROCKS but please don 't judge it because of Helens Hidaway. Just like a bad road, avoid the potholes, because this is a deep and crappy one. Trust me, I live here!!! Ptown is a worthwhile destination, just avoid the potholes!!!! Enjoy Ptown and all it has to offer. Just enjoy everything and ignore the Potholes!!! ?
I always have a great time at the meat raffle! Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is located on the ground floor.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, and all of the staff are extremely polite and cheerful. There are a few lovely waitresses, as well as the owner, Helen, who is also stunning and always very kind and courteous. As soon as you walk in the door, they make you feel right at home. The atmosphere they provide creates a truly pleasant dining experience.
The food was terrible! $hi++y, if I'm allowed to say that here. I'm sure food thrown found in a dumpster would've been better than the sandwich I was served. The drink was undrinkable as I don't think they clean their lines out regularly, if at all. Found the staff to be ok other than the owner's verbal abuse overheard. The place didn't look the cleanliest but I'm sure the tweakers there didn't seem to mind. If you're coming into town for the theatre or passing through and want something to eat or drink, dont waste your time here.
The restaurant provided excellent service and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly.
