Locals - Phenix City

I had an excellent experience with the service and the atmosphere was wonderful. Unfortunately, my steak was overcooked, charred, and quite salty. However, the salad was tasty. I must mention that the bathroom was the cleanest and best smelling I've ever encountered. The live music was enjoyable too. I would consider returning to try different dishes, so there's a chance I might increase my rating next time.

We ordered two beers as soon as we arrived, but it took nearly 10 minutes for them to arrive, and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Our server informed us that she was placing our order before a large table, yet it still took over 40 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the boneless wings, but they turned out to be tiny chicken nuggets rather than actual boneless wings. I also asked for napkins, but they never came.

This is a great place to hang out, and it always seems to be bustling with activity. The food and service were both satisfactory. I would love to see more live music here, as it really enhances the atmosphere. The only downside was that when I arrived for the first time, I wasn’t greeted by the staff. I understand everyone has their hands full, but several staff members walked by without offering assistance or even acknowledging me. After waiting for a few minutes, I had to kindly stop one of them to ask for help. I hope this aspect improves in the future. Overall, it’s a solid spot with a vibrant atmosphere. I had a good experience.

I have never been met by a more rude staff. I placed an order on THEIR website for pick up. Waited 25 for a confirmation email. Called the restaurant and was met by a, We are not taking orders via the web today . I asked how I was to go about getting my money back and was told that they did not have anything to do with that. I questioned why THEIR website allowed me to place an order in the first place and was again told that they did not have anything to do with that??? I could not find ANYWHERE online a notice about not taking web orders on this day or any other days. Take the website down if you are not going to use it instead of allowing folks to be charged. What if we had drove to the restaurant instead of calling?

The staff here is very nice and friendly. The food is a different story. I was disappointed. The traditional wings I ordered were soggy, and lacked flavor. They were not fresh. I ordered fries and there was barely any. It was probably the worst wings I?ve had from a restaurant.
