Bok - Philadelphia

I had an absolutely delightful experience overall. The cocktails were excellent, everything was perfect, and the staff was very friendly.

I've always been a fan of this place and absolutely love it. It offers the best view of the Philly skyline, so be sure to check its opening dates and plan your visit accordingly. This venue isn't just great for sightseeing; the drink selection is quite impressive as well. The atmosphere is hipster-friendly and welcoming to the LGBTQ community, children, and pets. Personally, I think Bok Bar has the coolest hipster vibe around, and I always enjoy my visits here. Since the pandemic began, they've shifted their kitchen program to support local restaurants, which has been a wonderful initiative. I used to love their hummus and chips, but unfortunately, they don't offer that anymore. This time, we tried the pommes, and they were fantastic!

This place is awesome. I always bring out of town guests here if they've never visited the city before. Located on the top of an old school, this rooftop bar gives you perfect city skyline views and a great place for a sunset. Pretty good beer selection as well!

I considered taking away a star because the pop-up bar gives off a certain vibe. It’s really cool, and the concept is fantastic, but it feels temporary. You won't get the impression that you can settle in for a full meal along with your drinks. They do serve food, but the menu has a cafeteria-like feel. It’s a nice spot to enjoy a few cocktails with friends, but you’d be better off going elsewhere for a proper meal. Keep in mind, it’s called Bok Bar, not Bok Restaurant, so don’t expect anything beyond a few drinks and a stunning view, and you’ll be just fine. The historical setting adds to the charm as well. I wish I could give it a higher rating for the ambiance, even if the service was a bit slow, but the atmosphere and the view are enjoyable. Just relax, grab a drink in a plastic cup, and take some selfies with friends—embrace it for what it is.

Beautiful view of the city! it is in an old school building, so just getting into the room is a cool experience. had a few nice cocktails. the prizes are for philly something high, but the prospects make it worth it. great if they have friends to visit the city.
