The best sandwiches I’ve ever had, absolutely no wrong options, I’ve made the 30 minute drive multiple times and stop by if I’m working nearby. They have great customer service too.

A diamond in the rough...a true hidden gem. This place is pumping out some of the best hoagies and hot sammiches in all of Philadelphia. Tucked on the corner of an unassuming neighborhood, this sandwich shop does not focus on flash. When you enter it reminds you of your childhood corner store deli; with rare candies and sodas and copious amounts of chips to pair with your sandwich. The owner, Foos and his wife focus on delivering high quality ingredients and masterful proportions stuffed inside a perfect seeded Licious roll, to give you a perfect bite, every bite, throughout the whole hoagie. I have yet to have a bad sammy, but the best sandwiches are the Old World Italian, Roast Pork Italianna, and anything with their fresh made chicken cutlets. (Their homemade potato and macaroni salads are no slouch either). Even in a city radiating with great food, Chubby's stands in a league of their own. When you're in the area it's a must stop, but even if you live in South Philly it's worth a trip.
