The creamed chipped beef is the best I've ever had and I have been eating it for years. Home fries were cooked perfectly. Looking around the pancakes were a big favorite of folks and they looked so appetizing. Thick while fluffy. Scrapple again perfect. Crisp outside but soft inside and flavorful. The atmosphere is great sitting at the counter watching everyone stroll by. My buddy had the coffee and said it was perfect black didn't need anything added. I'm going back next week it was that good I can't wait to eat there again.
A fantastic little Dutch eatery in Reading Terminal, prices are a bit on the higher size for the portions in comparison to some places nearby in Chinatown, but the food is particularly very good.Personally I have had the seasonal burger, the BLT, and a club sandwich, and while the foods are basic sure the ingredients are fresh and everything is always very very tasty.Highly recommend their pancakes too!
First time passing by here was a great stop for breakfast had there blue berry pancakes a side of fried homefries with bacon and cheese and well it was all really tasty my friends enjoyed it to we ate it all up? cant wait to come back and see what else they got! My fav was the homefries.Food: 5/5
Be prepared. Look at other people's plates! The portions are HUGE. The food though is AMAZING. Those home fries. Wow just wow. Also the pancakes. I am bummed that I only got to experience it once but if I ever go back this is where I will eat every day!Food: 5/5
Amazing tasty food, come here if you are craving a hearty American breakfast. It will be difficult to decide between the dishes but whatever you choose, it will certainly be delicious. Great value for money (e.g. one pancake is the size of the whole plate! .Tip: The portions were quite large so if you‘re used to European sizes rather choose one dish and come back a second time to try something different!
