Giuseppe Sons - Philadelphia

We had a nice meal at Giuseppe Sons on a Saturday evening. Our server knew we had to be at a theater and made sure our food arrived in a timely but not rushed way. We were a party of 4 and shared artichoke hearts, tuna crudo, ceasar salad and beet salad as appetizers. All were delicious. The largest was the ceasar salad. We shared 4 entrees: eggplant parmigiana, halibut, gnocchi and tortelloni. All tasted wonderfully but I think my favorites were the tortelloni (so light with the ricotta filling) and the halibut. We did not have time for dessert. The house carafe of red was affordable and quite good for the price.

So much food, great service and an amazing atmosphere make for an amazing dinner!! Will definitely come back.

Great italian with ambiance; would definitely recommend.

Service was very quick and the wait staff pleasant. The food was good, some of the dishes were average: arrancani was very plain. Stay away from the desserts, none of them were good, which was an unfortunate end to an otherwise good dinner.

Great space, great service, great menu and food! Can’t wait to go back!
