Iron Hill Brewery - Philadelphia

I was disappointed that they didn't have maple bourbon pecan ice cream on the menu. I was tempted to lower my rating by 2 stars because of that.

The beer was enjoyable, especially Rudolf's Revenge. However, the food was disappointing. I ordered the spicy chicken lettuce wraps, but they were not very spicy at all. Our bartender was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed and could have used some extra help.

The service at this restaurant was excellent! Elissa took great care of me and the manager even took the time to address a problem with my salad. I was grateful that they removed it from my bill. It had been a while since I last visited this Iron Hill location in Chestnut Hill. I stopped in after a meeting for some shopping and decided to treat myself to dinner. Despite arriving before the dinner rush, I had to wait a few minutes to be seated. The host was friendly and eventually led me to my table after checking a seating chart on a tablet. While I appreciate the need for organized processes, it was disappointing to wait so long to be seated in a not-so-busy restaurant. I suggest the management team takes a closer look at their seating procedures to improve the experience for staff and customers. Thank you!

I had a nice lunch here with a friend. We tried the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer which had a crisp breadcrumb coating n a delicious sweet n spicy sauce. My friend had the salmon with mashed potatoes and green beans and I had a vegeta stir fry. Both delicious entrees prepared with fresh ingredients and cooked very well. I had a draft root beer and my friend had a bramble made with berries.
