Ol Boy's Soul Food - Philadelphia

Absolutely the best soul food spot around! I would give it 10+ stars. I always order the chicken or turkey wings, and they are amazing! All the side dishes are incredibly delicious—I have never been disappointed. I would love to meet the owner!

The turkey wings were quite small and overcooked. It seemed like they were baked first and then charred on a hot grill. The mac and cheese was old, dry, overly salty, and burnt. The only thing I enjoyed was the cabbage, which was good. I won’t be ordering from Ol' Boys again.

The ribs were literally so soft and tender !! The ribs literally melted in your mouth!! The yams are definitely the best I have tasted in the area the macaroni was alil too salty and the cabbage was bland to me Ill try a different veggies next time overall will buy from here again the turkey wings were soggy on one side but the flavor in the turkey wings was on point !

The Turkey Wings were really good! I like the gravy and they were tender. The string beans were bland and kinda tasted like the can. The potato salad was sweet which was weird to me. My daughter said the Mac and cheese was dry and the cheese seemed "fake", not melty.

The Baked Turkey Wings Platter was quite disappointing; the wings were small and resembled chicken wings rather than turkey. They lacked color and flavor because of insufficient seasoning. The mac and cheese fell flat and didn't stand out. The collard greens were decent but a bit too sweet for my taste. As for the rice with gravy, there was hardly any gravy at all—just a greasy stew from the turkey wings, which I didn't enjoy. Overall, the portions were very small for the price, and I probably won’t be ordering this again.
