Paradise Inn - Philadelphia

This place is fantastic! I love the food and the owners. I always order the beef and broccoli, while my partner gets the General Tso's chicken, and it's consistently delicious. We're definitely regulars here!

Absolutely awful! We ordered the General Tso's combo and the beef and broccoli combo, both served with crab fried rice. The General Tso's chicken was mushy and tasted overwhelmingly vinegary. As for the beef and broccoli, there was barely any beef to be found. We also tried the fried crab sticks as a side, and they were the worst imitation crab sticks I've ever tasted. I really wish we had noticed that this place hadn't received a review in over two years.

The hot and spicy chicken dish had a disappointing amount of chicken, leaving a bad impression overall. It might have been the oil that contributed to the unappetizing experience. When it comes to affordable American Chinese food, I would rate this below average.

One of the most unfortunate things during this pandemic is Paradise keeping its doors closed. Their food was always fantastic and with many other early closing food options, going to that other Chinese spot really makes you appreciate the difference in the food quality. If you have recently moved here, keep an eye out for if when they reopen.
