Soul D'lysh - Philadelphia

The food is amazing and there are so many options. We really appreciate that there is no pork prepared in the restaurant. The owners are friendly and professional, and it is obvious they have a passion for sharing their food with their community!! We have been there several times now and we've tried many different items: fried chicken, fried fish, lamb chops, fried fish po'boy, mac&cheese, collards, cabbage, rice, sweet potatoes. All delicious!! We've tried different flavors and different sauces... always a great experience!! There are also several interesting dessert options. We highly highly recommend visiting Soul D'Lysh. No matter the distance... the food is worth the drive!

Excellent food and service. Could use more seating but still a great spot. Definitely, the best soul food from Jersey to Allentown. If you're ever in the upper northernmost parts of Pennsylvania you must give this Soul Food Restaurant a whirl. And their desserts are absolutely delicious!!! Can't go wrong here.

Me and my coworker ordered two platters today for lunch. She praised this place and told me how GOOD the food was last time she ordered. When our food arrived, it was disgusting. I ordered the jerk salmon. The salmon was super hard with a rub of jerk sauce on the top. The pasta was cold and tasted like leftovers. She ordered fish, collard greens and Mac. She only ordered it because my other worker had it and hers was very tasteful. The collard greens was NOT seasoned at all. The Mac was disgusting. I’m not going to bash this place and say that the food is nasty but whoever was in the kitchen today did NOT feel like working nor did they care. Inconsistency!!!! I spent my money so I’m going to leave a review. Be good at what y’all do or don’t do it at all! Thank ya!

One of the best restaurants in the Lehigh Valley area I just wish you could order take out over the phone

10/10 recommend , the food was made To order and the banana pudding was AMAZING ! They gained new customers for sure !
