Terakawa Ramen - Philadelphia

Very delicious!! I loved the Spicy Ramen and the Takoyaki! The ramen was very spicy, the spiciest ramen by far! The takoyaki was extremely gooey and delicious, and went well with my ramen. I also had a bottle of Ramune and some Shrimp Tempura which were also extremely good. Would definitely come back and eat again!

This was my first time getting anything here and Im really surprised by all the rave reviews. This ramen (the Mayu) was mediocre at best. The chashu, egg, and veggies were perfectly fine. But the broth and noodles were very meh. The broth really lacked the richness and depth of flavor that makes good ramen so amazing and delectable. The flavor was so one-note and boring. I couldnt even taste the garlic. As for the noodles, they were stuck together and not well cooked. I really wonder if all these positive reviewers have just never had really good ramen before? Or maybe I just caught them on a bad day. Very disappointing.

The restaurant is nice and clean. The food is good, clean, authentic, but my ramen could have had a little more flavor. The pork belly and rice were good along with the fried pork dumplings. My overall experience was good, and the prices are for any budget. I will visit again.

So, so tasty. The server was so friendly, and gave excellent suggestions. She brought out roasted garlic and a seasame grinder which made the already layered ramen flavors bloom.
