Yiro Yiro - Philadelphia

I visited Greece this year and every time I order from this restaurant, I feel like I am transported back there. The food is fantastic, with delicious sauces, generous portions of meat, and consistently well-seasoned flavors. This is one of my favorite spots to eat in Philly, and they are available on all delivery platforms for those who, like me, enjoy ordering in frequently.

The service was quick and friendly. My order was correct and the zucchini sticks were delicious. I especially enjoyed the thick and garlicky tzatziki sauce. The gyros were also good, with moist meat (which can be a common issue with gyros). The highlight of the meal was the yogurt, which was absolutely delicious. The mix of honey, figs, and cinnamon in the thick Greek yogurt left me feeling very satisfied.

The food at this restaurant is top-notch, receiving 5 stars, while the service goes above and beyond with 6 stars. The young man working at the counter was extremely hospitable, patient, and helpful. The food itself was fantastic, with the meat being tender, the pita perfectly cooked, and the veggies fresh, crisp, and delicious. Kudos to the staff, especially the young lady who took my order, as she clearly enjoys her work, evident in the presentation and taste of the food. Great job all around!

OK. I'm giving this spot 4 stars. It's actually 4.5, but I can't bring myself to give it 5. The reason was that our food was not even warm. We ordered Pita Chicken Yiro and Pita Falafel Yiro (both with Tzatziki sauce). The falafel were really crispy and tasty. However, the Spanakopita (which I was dying to try) was positively cold. Everything tasted great but I really wish it was warm.

This is a great place to order gyros and they are made to order with amazing sauces and meat! also the workers are friendly!
