Zio's Pizza - Philadelphia

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is delicious and has become our favorite spot. We recently enjoyed it at a holiday party, and it tasted so good and familiar. It turns out they catered the event, and everything was a hit. The portions are incredibly generous, and their garlic knots are amazing! Ordering is a breeze, and their takeout service is impressively quick. We're moving in a few months, and I know we will really miss Zio!

I've tried a variety of dishes from this place, and most have been rather average. The cheesesteak, for instance, was disappointing—it had no onions, and there wasn’t even an option to add them on DoorDash. There wasn’t enough cheese, and it wasn’t blended well with the salty, dry meat. I wouldn’t order that again. The fries were soggy, undercooked, and completely unsalted. However, they did give a decent amount in the small order, so after I put them in the air fryer and added some salt, they were passable. Most of the pizza is decent, except for the chicken with peppers and onions, which I really didn’t like. My favorite is the BBQ chicken pizza, but even that is just okay—not amazing. The standout dish for me has been the penne vodka. It was delicious, and they even included a side of garlic knots that were pretty good too. The girl at the counter seems a bit discontent, but she’s not unfriendly. Overall, I’m giving Zio's three stars. It's pretty average, but there are some redeeming qualities that keep me coming back, especially since it’s the only pizza option in Chinatown.

My favorite pizza at this place is the primavera! It's rich with garlic and cheese, and absolutely indulgent. I've sampled a few of their other pizzas, but none compare to the primavera. I also appreciate how affordable it is and how fast the service is. If you're in the mood for a quick slice or even a whole pizza, you won't have to spend a lot here.

I ordered the fajita pizza and I appreciated the size and amount of the toppings they put. The crust was nice and crispy. Some of the other pizzas looked good too.

Outstanding pizza and salads. Also very good value for the money. I have ordered several times and the quality is consistent. Delivery has been on time or early and the pizza is still warm when it is delivered although I warm it up for five minutes.
