Chesterfields Restaurant Bar

Had a Mahi dish and a chicken dish. Both were excellent. Service was great too. Note that 15% service is included on your bill automatically.

Chesterfields is located on the Dutch side of St Maarten, in a strip mall that also includes Amsterdam Cheese store, and is on the beach. We enjoyed a meal here while waiting for our snorkeling and sailing excursion, as Chesterfields is just outside where our boat launched. The seafood platter, filled with a variety of fried seafood including conch fritters was very good. The fish and chips offered fresh fish with a lovely batter. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but we didn’t have much time to enjoy our food as it took a quite awhile to get to us and we had to be at the boat check in at a specific time. You can tell that this a place the locals enjoy as well, which speaks for itself. It is a little isolated from the pier and main shopping areas, and you will need to walk about 10-15 minutes from the pier to get there. You may also want to make sure you go to the bathroom before coming to this area, as the bathrooms are….a little primitive….

Breakfast is DELICIOUS! Chesterfield's is always a good time. Update: Had lunch on my birthday. Food was great, Service was a little slow because they were busy, but the owners made up for it. Update: Recently had dinner. Food is still delicious. Nice atmosphere. Good service.
