Feedback gevenI stayed at the Madrones for a long weekend and ate at Wickson for every meal. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere, it was a lovely escape. Delicious, fresh, and locally sourced. Unique place with amazing food! We ordered Niçoise salad, 2 pizzas and the gambas ajillo, everything was stunning, so fresh and juicy. Thank you for the amazing experience!
Thursdays are family night prefix 3 course menu with a theme.Tonight 's menu featured a blue cheese garden salad, fried chicken with homemade biscuits and a spicy, honey drizzle, and a smore inspired dessert.The salad was a surprising delight creamy without being overpowering and a nice way to ensure some vedge made its way into the meal! The main course was the fried chicken, homemade biscuits and a side of creamy mashed potatoes and string beans. We enjoyed the gravy that topped the mashed potatoes (a chicken reduction that complimented the fried chicken) and the spicy honey that we drizzled liberally over both the chicken and biscuits.Overall, it was a lovely experience and we left very well fed!
Absolutely amazing! Great wine selection, incredible food, and a lovely atmosphere. The servers were all very helpful and the chefs were a ton of fun. Can't wait to return! The focaccia is a must.
We had a great meal here. Sat near the kitchen and BSed with the chefs. Waitstaff was fun. Not stuffy nor pretentious. Perhaps not everyone's cup of tea but we certainly liked the service. Food was very good. Dessert was also excellent. Chef picked a bottle of wine that went perfectly with the meal. Yes it's expensive. But running a business in Philo ain't easy I imagine. I give these folks credit for making it happen.
