Cocina Cartel - Phnom Penh

I had the carnitas (pulled pork) soft tacos. Great presentation. Delicious flavours but my pulled pork was a little dry. The beans and rice were delicious. I paid US $6. I liked the venue, liked the art and think a little more would be great.

Cocina cartel little Mexican food restaurant behind the palace easy to pass it in a taxi had to uturn it. Went there for lunch had nachos and carnitas quesadilla, big servings and I’d say decent Mexican flavour. Service is good was the only table there so should be, place could use proper ventilation as it was hot throughout the restaurant. Jazz it up with some colourful paint and play some Latin music would help it a lot, feels a bit dull inside. I would eat from here again just take it to go rather than inside.

It's fantastic food. A bit overpriced for this city. BUT, if you're really craving a taco/burrito spot where u can sit down. This is a great place.

Quality seems to have decreased. Ordered veggie nachos and tacos, both were supposed to come with black beans but this was not included. Toppings on the nachos were very limited. Always used to be very happy with food here previously so the change was quite disappointing.

Very nice Mexican apartment. The food and service are excellent. Also one of the best values you can get here
