Barrio Cafe Sky Harbor - Phoenix

‘After covidian scandemic’ the menu changed. This is not like the Bario at sky harbor. Very limited menu with high airport prices. Only 4 generic beers on tap

Possibly the worst airport dining experience I’ve ever had. The wait staff was slow, and when we mentioned that we had a flight to catch after 35 minutes of waiting for food, the waiter started taking offense, making excuses, and being rude. Not to mention the food was borderline inedible. Don’t waste your money here.

I waited 10 minutes to be seated even though it was not that crowded. Then they gave us a table to be seated and were told that the server will be there soon. There were more than 4 servers around. Anybody we asked they said it was the other server. We were ignored on purpose as people who arrived with us also were attended on time.With a kid it's frustrating to keep waiting forever and when we were ready to walk out the server came running to ask if we needed anything. It was the same server who ignored our presence. Sorry but would definitely not recommend this place as they decide whom they want to serve.

While waiting for a flight, I decided to grab a drink, some guacamole, and chips. The drink was fine, but I don't think they actually put the tequila in. I have never had a margarita anywhere where I couldn't pick out the flavor of the tequila. The guacamole and chips were really good, which is the only reason for the 3 stars. The service was terrible. The staff was goofing off and was too busy chatting with each other. Which is crazy because there were quite a few tables of folks ready to order, leaver, etc. I was brought a different tables food twice, which really shows how the staff was not paying attention. The server who helped me took my card and check to run in. Then I saw her chatting with other staff for a while. Then she came back over and asked if I wanted my check, which I let her know she already had my card and I would like to leave. It was also very expensive, I will never be back.

Deep fried greasy bacon inedible, French fries versus breakfast potatoes. The scrambled eggs and toast were the only edible items. Not worth $30 for two. Recommend skipping it.
