El Quiché Pupusas 2 - Phoenix

Food is mediocre. I asked for a cup of water. The lady said they didn't have water. Ten minutes passed, I asked the woman for water from the sink. This woman goes by the beverage station and gets a bottle of water. What the hell is this place thinking. Terrible experience, to deny WATER that some straight non sense.

The pupusas are insanely good. Everything else... not quite. I guess that's on me for ordering tacos at a place that specializes in pupusas... I tried the pastor tacos and the carne asada. Did not like either of them unfortunately.Service was good. The lady that attended was nice and attentive. The restaurant is nice and quiet. If you like that sort of thing you will like it here.

Hole in the wall cafe. Superb Papusas and tacos. Next time I will try something new!

This place makes a really great burrito. There is a language barrier if you can't speak Spanish, but as long as you can pronounce the menu items, and say how many of each item such as uno or dos you will be fine. You can eat there, but the atmosphere isn't all that great. It's much better for takeout.

Chorizo Street Tacos. So delicious. El Pastor and steak equally good. The salsa rojo is outstanding.
