Hana Japanese Eatery - Phoenix

This was formerly one of my favorite places for Japanese food. Perhaps there was a change of chefs or ingredient quality, but the last 2 times I went was nothing close of the quality it used to be so probably wont go anymore (particularly the sushi). The service and atmosphere was fine.

A little on the high side but the food and service is really good. We didn’t have a reservation so we had to wait maybe a half hour but got drinks from their bar area. The bar did not have any seats so we had to kind of stand out of the way. Parking: Seemed to be plenty of spots as I had a spot directly outside.

Definitely the best and most traditional Japanese restaurant in Phoenix. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians and dishes can also be altered. Dietary restrictions: Accommodating for dietary restrictions. Parking: A good amount of parking in front of the restaurant and also street parking is an option right next to it.

Unique rolls and flavors and fun environment. A bit pricey but worth it!

The staff here is wonderful! Our family has been looking for places that sell onigiri, but had no luck. We had asked them if they sold it and to our surprise they told us they could make it specially for us! We are so grateful and it tastes delicious!!! We can’t wait to come back and taste the rest of your menu! Thank you so much!!!
