Jersey Mike's - Phoenix

I love going to Jersey Mike 's as I must eat gluten free. The gluten free rolls can be quite dry, but ordering a hot sub with allergy alert produced a delicious and edible bread, made safely. I visited today, ordered a hot sub gluten free, but was toldthat we were told we could no longer make hot subs if you have an allergy to gluten) I was so disappointed! Emailed theowner to clarify this policy and awaiting a response. So if you are a gluten free diner, beware. I will update later

Ordered 1 sub through the app and arrived to pick it up at the recommended time. There was already 5 other people ahead of me still waiting for online orders. They could not start my sandwich until 25 min after I got there. Get home to find my whitebread was overcooked dark brown and crispy on the ends. I did not want a baguette sandwich.

I highly recommend avoiding ordering pickup from this location. They seem to prepare your order too early, resulting in a cold sub when you were expecting it to be hot, or a warm, soggy sub that should be cold. Ordering in person isn't much better, as you'll likely end up waiting in line for 20 minutes. I wish my experience could be better, especially since Jersey Mike's has a fantastic menu and their charitable efforts are praiseworthy. Unfortunately, the staff situation here leaves a lot to be desired. Additionally, every sub is wrapped, placed in a bag, and then put into an oversized bag, yet there are no napkins included. Come on, guys—it's all about execution, and that's clearly lacking here.

My dear friend was kind enough to bring me the sandwiches I requested: an Italian combo and a tuna. Unfortunately, the Italian sandwich was quite disappointing. It oozed a white dressing, had just a thin slice of tomato that got lost in the overwhelming amount of shredded lettuce, and overall, it tasted more like a grassy field than anything resembling meat or cheese. I won't be ordering that again.

The customer service here was exceptionally rude, making it one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Having previously worked at Jersey Mike's, I can confidently say that the quality of the sandwich at this location was disappointing. While Jersey Mike's as a brand is still great, this particular location really falls short.
