Maria's Frybread Mexican Food - Phoenix

I've been going to Maria's since I moved here in 2020. I love love their pozole.. it's sooo delicious

Came here on Cinco de Mayo. No specials but I’m glad we stayed and tried it out because the food was so good. I’ve never had fry bread before and got a chicken taco frybread, chips, guac and a horchata. The taco was a large portion (I made 2 meals out of it). The chips were fresh and the guac was pretty good more of like a paste vs chunky. The horchata was creamy and had the perfect amount of cinnamon. For my food a chicken burrito it was $32.The ladies working were very nice. The space inside is small and they started to get a little busy but they still came to check on us as we dined in and made sure to thank us when we left.

10/10!! Got the breakfast frybread, carne asada frybread cheese crisp, and pozole- all of it was amazing. Portions are huge ? Staff were incredibly friendly. Exceptional service! Wish we lived in AZ so we could stop by frequently, so y’all should go for us ??

Friendly they welcomed us as soon aa we walked through the door. We chose what they call the Christmas tree. Indian fried bread with all the fixings. I got the red chile my fiance chose the shredded beef. They were both delicious. Definitely recommended. We will be back.

The food was excellent but the price and service makes it even better. Although this isn't a full service restaurant they still checked on us to make sure everything was good and that we had what we needed. They clearly work hard to provide a great product as well as service. You can't have one without the other and be successful. Don't let the unassuming location deter you, this place is on point.
