Our table was decorated with beautiful rose petals and a candle. The wait staff was gracious and celebratory, taking pictures and ensuring every moment of our experience was perfect. It was a memorable evening and we are so appreciative of how cherished we felt.
The service is great. They were very personable and efficient. The lobster was great, but the fillet was just adequate. My wife had the lobster linguine and enjoyed it. Go for the seafood.
Our third time here and another great dinner. We arrived early to have a cocktail in the bar. Ẁe were promptly seated once done. Service was attentive and friendly. It was Restaurant Week and we both chose the scallop entree. My house salad was overdressed, but my husband loved the caesar. We chose the suggested wine pairing and elected for the carrot cake. The scallops had a great sear and were delicious, as was the accompanying risotto. The carrot cake had a pineapple sauce with it...mmmmm! It was my birthday and our server brought out a complimentary third dessert. Needless to say. We took home enough dessert for the next two days! Ocean Prime never disappoints, and Restaurant Week is a great time to go.
We tried the AZ Restaurant Week menu. I had the French Onion Soup, the Scallops with Risotto and Carrot Cake. The carrot cake was very good, but the rest of the meal had zero flavor. The soup had no flavor at all. I don't even know if that was Gruyère melted on top. The scallops were good and cooked perfectly, but the risotto was bland, bland, bland. We did restaurant week here 3 years ago and it was wonderful! That's why we thought we'd try it again. Very disappointed and won't go back. Wasn't cheap! Waste of money!
My wife and I love going to this restaurant! We usually can only afford it during restaurant week because of the lower prices. On regular days expect to pay about $100 to $150 per person. My wife loves their jumbo sea scallops. They are perfectly cooked with a delicious marinade. They were served with a side of parmesan risotto, which was wonderful! I got the 8 oz filet mignon, Oscar style. The cut of meat was tender and seasoned well. It was cooked to medium rare, per my request. The Oscar style topping was good but I was a little disappointed in how small the pieces of crab meat were. For dessert, we had their five layer carrot cake. This was rich and delicious! We were sat next to a few tables that had large groups of loud people, which made it a little difficult for us to talk to each other. Overall we love this place. We will back be back as often as we can!
