Sorry but the food was not good at all to me. The chicken skin was tough and all I tasted was rosemary not j seasoning. The peach cobbler dough tasted like old grease. The greens were so/so not the best but not awful. Definitely won’t return

Visiting the Phoenix area and wanted to treat my friends to soul food. I was very disappointed at the quality and quantity of food. There was either too much salt or too much sugar in everything which made the food practically inedible. The under-seasoned ribs were charred and covered with debris from the grill. The chicken was undercooked and unseasoned. The sides (macaroni cheese, sweet potatoes and collards were a mishmash of unappealing accompaniments). Even though I ordered and paid for the food in advance, I had to wait for the food to be packaged. I was very disappointed and next time will not solely go on good reviews from the internet.

I did not take photos of the food because it did not let that long. Go often and go hungry. The peach cobbler is NOT to be missed. Reminded me of home and the staff is all family and engaging. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with the selections. The mango habanero sauce is on point as was the smoked j chicken.

They catered a delicious lunch for our large firm’s Black History Month celebration and it was amazing! If you’re looking for SOUL food, this is it! We ordered a variety of meats and sides, and they did not disappoint—the flavors were perfect for all different palates and I was amazed with all of the choices we had in customizing our order. Thank you so much for your courtesy, professionalism, and amazing food cooked with love! Will be back again with all of my family and friends. Definitely recommend 5/5!!

Perfect name for the restaurant, because the food is heavenly!I had catfish, mac&cheese, yams and collards greens. I didn't need tartar sauce, ketchup or hot sauce. The food was seasoned to perfection! I'm stuffed, I couldn't stop eating even though I was full! : Please give them a try, you will not be disappointed! I wish I could give them 10 stars!!!!!
