Timo Wood Oven - Phoenix

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The server was exceptional and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. The outdoor patio had a charming atmosphere. My only issue was that the carrots served with the lamb were too firm. They could have been cooked a bit longer, either steamed or sauteed. Besides that, everything was perfect.

This restaurant review is for Timo Wine Bar located at 8801 N. Central Ave. #104. This establishment received numerous violations during their inspection on April 16th. There were bugs and roaches found throughout the premises, indicating a lack of cleanliness. Additionally, uncovered raw beef and seafood, as well as old dishes like spinach and artichoke dip, brie soup, roasted veggies, and risotto were being served past their expiration dates - some as old as April 2nd. Inspectors also noted the presence of flying insects in various areas of the restaurant, including landing on food and food contact surfaces. Spider webs with trapped insects and spiders were found under the prep sink in the back room. To top it off, a carpeted mat was discovered under a urinal in one of the restrooms. Based on these findings, it is not recommended to dine at Timo Wine Bar.
