I must say without a doubt, we found it in Adela's Italian cuisine! Hooray! We were found at different levels to what we found. First and foremost, the kitchen is exceptional! Pedro and Adela are proud of their amazing offers. Since our fave Italian in Alexandria, VA (see my review of Via Venetto) – we have not found anything that comes near exquisite Italian food in the Valley, especially Piedmontese, or Northern Italy! Our visit started with glasses of a smooth and wonderful Bellini Prosecco and Querceto Chianti. The garlic and oil infused house bread was delightful. Our appetizer of one of the best Fried Calamari ever; very delicate and slightly crispy overwürzt bread with an excellent arrabbiata sauce (arrabbiata means “angry”; the name of the sauce refers to the spice of chili pepper). Our main consisted of the Pollo Marconi of my wife: a thick, juicy and tasty chicken breast, with cut mushrooms, excellent boiled eggplant, cheese, ham covered in a smooth tomato marsala cream sauce. I had one of the lavish dishes, and best always yields of Vitello alla Sorrentino: a veal with chopped olives, diced mushrooms, bacon and mozzarella cheese covered in a delicious Marsala wine sauce. I was interested in getting the Tiramisu, but considering how full and satisfied we were, I agreed with my wife to order her Limoncello Mascarpone Cake – although not a fan of Limoncello, this cake filled with Limoncello Mascarpone cream was amazingly great! After enjoying these wonderful Viktuals, I finished the evening Adelas Caffe: a double espresso, with steamed milk, Bailey's Irish Cream and Frangelico an Italian hazelnut liqueur. Wow! Second, and amazing, the boss with over 30 years of Italian cooking experience Pedro, with his wife Ximena and daughter (the Delgado’s) began Adelas in 2014 are Mexican. Of course, it is like hitting the Italian cuisine jackpot enjoying their hospitality, kindness, affordable prices, cooking and ambience. Here is the best itâglia has to offer in the kitchen. Delgado’s have made their dream of having a great restaurant, but also given Italian gastronomy a part of their exceptional cooking genius. This is by far one of the most recommended meals in the valley of the sun that we can make. Adela’s, we have become new rules to your home. Grandi avventure! Bon appétit Ya’ll!
