Spoke to the lady that pick up my call and she didn’t give me a chance to properly say bye to her after I apologize to her for mistakenly calling her restaurant for my order. She’s rude. She could at least pretend to act nice till the end of our phone call hang. She hang on up me that fast like lightning without giving me a chance to finish speaking!
This is an updated review. Missing item once again. Used to order from here a lot but haven’t ordering much since they messed up my order so many times in the past. I was craving some clams so I ordered clams, mussels and of course. Most of add on items are missing again. No way to opt for re- delivery of missing item. Reached out to the store and the response and customer service staff didn’t really care for the mistake. Clams are also poor quality, half of the clams were closed shut. They were attached to the shell, very difficult and some were impossible to detach from the shells. Waste of $45 should have known better. Don’t recommend this place at all.
We went here for the first time last night and it was horrible. After appetizers we left to another restaurant to finish and enjoy our date. Not often do we have a babysitter and this place was a complete waste of time. Waiter didn't seem to have a care for us and knew he was wrong apologizing multiple times when we were exiting. The atmosphere was really distasteful. My appetizer came out 45mins after my husband's and was sloppily thrown together in a rush, clearly. In all honesty I wish we would've left without eating anything. The time and money waste was pitiful. I personally wouldn't recommend nor would I give it a second go.
I honestly didn’t expect to go down and dirty with my food, but it’s almost exciting considering they prepare you by giving bibs and gloves. The food was very delicious, our waitress was patient and friendly, and overall the atmosphere (once you get past the fishy smell of course) was really inviting and festive. First time eating at the shack and I gotta say, even though I prefer utensils and napkins every meal, sometimes it’s okay to simply dig in and end up covered in just as much marinade as the fish itself!
Seafood in the desert from a chain restaurant? At first we were skeptical but it was amazing! We got the boil and got soooo much shrimp, lobster, and crab. My kids loved it and the little one even helped crack shells. They give you gloves, bibs, tools everything you need to feast without getting covered in sauce. Plus at the end they brought out a lobster for us to touch, what a fun extra. Do yourself a favor and come check this place out and ask for Katie!
