Boston Market - Phoenix

Boston Market has a consistent product and are always hot and fresh. I had some of their Thanksgiving dinner for pick-up and I have to say, it was pretty good. I loved that it was ready for me and I didn't have to bother my family by making them cook for me. It's also great if you're a bachelor and want a Thanksgiving dinner while watching the game but don't want to bother cooking for just yourself.

This place is located next to a stip mall. Getting in and out of it, is a pain in the neck due to the traffic, as it is not right at an intersection. The service was friendly, but it took them longer than I expected to prepare and package my take out order. The portions were on the small side for sides. Order a large one for each person especially for adults. A toddler could easily finish an individual side and want more. The mashed potato is instant. The gravy was very salty and canned tasting. The green beans tasted like they came out of a can. The corn was not fresh and tasted like it had been frozen. The whole roasted chickens are tasty, but there isn't a lot of meat on them. 2 chickens for a family of four would be a good idea. 3 if you have a couple of teenagers. After I got mine home I had to bake them for another 15 minutes to cook them all they way through they were still pink in the middle. The rolls tasted stale and did not look homemade. They looked and tasted like state Kings Hawaiian brand ones you get in Walmart.

This was my favorite place to go a bowl of chicken soup. Today, the suppe is watery, tasteless, with hardly one huh. It tastes as if they were trying to stretch it. it missed on all the same. the hornbread was at best medium. you are all gone and hard. what a disappointment! food: 2/5

I wanted to pick up Thanksgiving today. I said they all canceled orders. I don't have an email alert. very angry. we will never go there again. Thank you for ruining my thanksgiving.

Is the boston market not known for chickens? isn't that her? I was there tonight and they didn't have a fucking chicken! it is completely unacceptable that they should always have made chickens available. bad customer service!
