This place is pretty small inside, but they seem to do a big take-out business. The menu is large, but not crazy. I saw several items that I recognized and many that I did not. All of the tables inside were full (a good sign! , so I placed a to-go order and figured that I 'd sit at one of the tables outside and that would make taking the leftovers home easy. One entree with rice and naan is enough for two people, though you don 't get the variety you get when going family style with a larger group. The clerk was very nice while I decided what I wanted and she checked the spice level she should recommend with the man who I assume was the one preparing the food. He said a 5 out of 10 would be good, and he was right! Despite the Midwest on my resume, I like spicy food more than the average. The 5 was just right for me: enough to make my nose run but not enough to overpower the flavor. It was a pleasant burn This food was excellent. It was at least as good as I have had anywhere else. The naan was flavorful and a little chewy (I had the garlic naan . The portion of rice was generous and the Chicken Makhani was fantastic: Chicken (Dark meat cooked in the Clay Oven then simmered in a sweet butter sauce with fresh tomatoes onions They hooked me up with a plate, plastic utensils and some bottled water when I said I 'd be eating outside. I appreciated that, especially since I didn 't know what their 5/10 was going to do to me. The clerk even checked on me to make sure everything was to my liking. I 'm definitely going to have to come back next time my wife has other plans for dinner. (She does not like Indian food, so that 's my chance!
Tried Flavors of India through UberEats and it was as flavorful like their name says! We ordered the garlic naan, palak paneer, chicken makhani (butter chicken), shrimp tikka masala, and gobi manchurian. Everything was pretty good, especially enjoyed the chicken makhani, super flavorful. The shrimp tikka masala was quite similar so I probably wouldn't get both together again. Palak paneer as expected. Gobi manchurian was too saucy and salty for us, I barely felt any cauliflower textures and it was pretty mushy. There are other spots that do it closer to our preference. Would return if I'm in the area! Overall solid spot.
YUM! Had booked marked this place was wanting to give it a try when in the mood for Indian Food. That happened to be today and it was so delicious! Ordered the Naan Garlic Bread, the Curry Chicken, Chicken Makhani White Basmati Rice. EVERYTHING was so satisfying just the right amount of spice. The standout for us was the Chicken Makhani and paired perfectly with either the rice or dipping that amazing bread along with it. The staff was very friendly. Looks to be a family owed and operated business LOVE supporting places such as this. This is a must do experience if you like Indian Food. So impressed we will for sure be back and order that superb chicken dish again.
I love this little place! Great tasting food with friendly service. The owner makes you feel like you're juts over at a friend's home for a meal. I love that they are able to adjust spice level by request so that even the kids can tolerate the heat. We always enjoy ourselves at this place. Only criticism is that the physical space is a little cramped but we have never had a wait getting seated quickly.
Finally found my go-to Indian food. Usually I try to save half of my food for a reheat but I was enjoying it too much to stop. We got the chicken vindaloo and chicken biryani. Both were a hefty portion, but I'd recommend getting a side of rice with the vindaloo.
