Half Moon Sports Grill - Phoenix

This was my first time at this restaurant and I must say, the burgers are amazing! The service was also very good.

I started my dinner with #TacoTuesday and enjoyed 3 tacos and 2 chocolate martinis while studying in a secluded area. The waitstaff was attentive and the bartenders made my drinks perfectly. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was delightful and satisfying.

We came to watch football and tried the food, which was pretty good. The service was fine, but the smell of rancid fryer grease in the kitchen, although far away, was nauseating. We ended our visit early because of this and probably won't come back in the future, even though everything else was decent. The overpowering smell ruined an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Sadly the last 3 times the food has not been good. Dry and needed a remake. Cold the next time and server took 20 minutes to come back to us. This last time, the chicken used on the nachos was disgusting. Tasted like fish. Or canned. Not sure but it was gross. I doubt we will be back.

Just an FYI ... a large pitcher of Blue Moon is 29 .... Most bars charge half this... 2 pitchers was 61 dollars. Sorry , but this is ridiculous..... and if they reply this is standard price I know what my normal stop charges and I asked what the price was near my house .... Both approx. half that.....
