Nishikawa Ramen - Phoenix

The ramen at this restaurant was delicious, but I only tried a bite from my boyfriend's bowl. Unfortunately, the potato shrimp dish I ordered did not taste fresh and was quite bland. The karage chicken was okay, but the batter lacked seasoning so I had to rely on the dipping sauce for flavor. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 3 out of 5.

Great food, fast service and friendly staff! Highly recommend the Tonkatsu Ramen extra spicy. Will definitely be back for more.

The space is very cozy so you may have to wait of you come at a busy time, but they do carry out if you don't want to wait. The nishikawa black was delicious. If you really like spicy, I recommend getting it hot. I got medium and it wasn't very spicy for my taste. The gyoza was crispy on the outside and so tasty. My husband got the curry and he loved it.

Was in Phoenix area for work this week and I stopped in Nishikawa Ramen to give it a try after reading the reviews. I ordered the Nishikawa Black Ramen and added extra deep fried onions and extra flavored oil black garlic....small place that seats like about 40 (my guess). Good menu and really great service. My food came just as I had ordered it...pork broth, chashu, green and fried onions, kikrage, menma, nori, seasoned egg, sesame seeds and served with straight noodles....it was really good. I also ordered gyoza and an Asahi beer.When I'm back here in Phoenix I'll definitely stop in again. The inside of the restaurant is clean.

This restaurant is amazing. The ramen tasted authentic, just like in Japan. I had the Tonkotsu ramen and it was delicious. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes. The food gets a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
