Omoide Sushi And Noodle - Phoenix

I visited this restaurant during my lunch break from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The service was quick, and the food had a delightful new flavor. The spicy Korean beef was an excellent choice. Everything was timely, professional, and delicious. Thank you once again!

I ordered the Ebi Ebi Sushi, softshell basket, and chicken Yaki Soba, and everything was delicious! I’m definitely coming back to try more of their dishes! I’m just happy I could eat here when it wasn’t too crowded because the service was quick, and the restaurant doesn't have a lot of space, especially for a central location in Phoenix. I can only imagine how busy it gets on weekends!

They take menus from customers, assuming their hands are clean, while wearing those same filthy gloves. They touch pens, use knives, and then wipe down surfaces and utensils – all with the same gloves! I even saw them drinking beer and eating their personal tacos, all while wearing those gloves! How is that acceptable? It's completely unhygienic that the male staff handle menus and then pass them directly to the cook, who prepares the food afterward! I witnessed someone come out of the bathroom, grab a menu to place an order, and hand it to the cook. Then that same cook started preparing food for others using that very same menu! If you think I'm exaggerating, just sit at the bar and watch for yourself, or check out the video I recorded!

I can see why this little cozy connection could be a jewel under your average restaurant in Phoenix, but as someone who loves this kind of food and eats it regularly, I can give it no more than 3 stars. The food quality is okay, but a little tasteless. The Korean beef was very tasteless and the Gyoza was not super fresh.

Great place to go for lunch to treat yourself.. About the only place left there at the Arizona Center.. and you can see why it made it for yourself.. It's a casual place to relax and eat.. The food is always great and serves decent portions.. many things to order that I haven't tried yet.. fairly priced still so don't cheap out... Go for the saki and beer to flush it down.. It will make you feel great walking out of there.
