Pomo Pizzeria Biltmore - Phoenix

It was a chilly evening, and unfortunately, the restaurant matched the weather—cold, drafty, and noisy. The fritto misto appetizer was flavorful but rather small; given the price, I expected more seafood. The pizza was enjoyable, but the espresso was a letdown. When I sent back the cold drink, the replacement was only lukewarm and tasted unpleasant, so I couldn't finish it. The restrooms were situated outside and accessible to the public, and with only two available, the wait was unreasonably long. The service was average at best. To top it off, I never received a receipt since the waitress simply processed our payment through her handheld device. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. My previous visit to Pomo in Scottsdale was much better, and this location did not meet my expectations.

I’ve visited the Pomo in North Scottsdale, and I definitely enjoyed the food and ambiance there much more. This location is quite small and has a peculiar layout, making it feel a bit cramped no matter where you sit. The service was excellent, but overall, this isn't my favorite Pomo location.

The restaurant was very cold inside, and our server seemed disinterested in being at work that evening.

The food is always great. And I honestly think Pomo's meatballs are the best ever. Our waiter had a **** attitude, and the noise level of the kitchen music was over the top, but the food was great.

The burratella pizza is my favorite. Food came out quick!
