While you can’t confuse it with a Whole Foods (the decor is quite utilitarian), it allows me to find the vegan and vegetarian products and supplements I regularly use without having to drive all the way to Paradise Valley. My only small complaint about Sprouts is the music. A little classic or jazz would be a refreshing change from the constant loop of Beach Boys, Shirelles, and tinny early pop that always plays. At least the atmosphere isn't difficult to handle...
The Organic Products section really needs improvement! It's very small. I traveled from the city and was craving something with kale, so I decided to try the organic bowl, which looked moist, fresh, and soft. They have a good selection of vitamins and my favorite KOMBUCHA in the ready-to-drink section. There are also many conventional products available. I appreciated that the gluten-free items are clearly marked on the shelves. Overall, there's potential, but more variety and space would be great!
Since the Wild Oats at 40th and Camelback closed a few years ago (has it really been that long?), I've been really grateful for Sprouts. While they'll never be mistaken for a Whole Foods, I appreciate the no-frills decor. Given the location, they offer a good selection of vegan and vegetarian products and supplements that save me a drive to Paradise Valley. My only minor complaint about Sprouts is the music: it would be nice to hear some classical or jazz instead of the endless stream of Beach Boys, Shirelles, and tinny early pop. At least it’s not heavy metal!
The organic products section could use a lot of improvement! It's quite small. I visited from the city and was in urgent need of some kale, so I purchased the organic kale, which looked fresh, vibrant, and tender. They have a great selection of vitamins and my favorite ready-to-drink kombucha in that area. You can also find many conventional products. I appreciated that gluten-free items were clearly labeled on the shelves, which was a nice touch.
If you're in search of unique vegan alternatives like cheese, meat, and chocolate, this place has you covered, especially compared to Whole Foods and other pricey stores. They frequently have sales and promotions, and offer a wide range of fresh conventional and organic products. Additionally, there are bulk sections for items like nuts, coffee, spices, and more.
