Taqueria Tepehuaje - Phoenix

My husband and I visited the restaurant late in the evening, and it turned out to be the perfect time since we were the only customers. The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. The quesabirria exceeded our expectations in size, and everything was well-seasoned. We spent $60 for the two of us, which I believe was worth it—especially considering you could easily spend $30 at a fast-food place. Oh, and did I mention they have a wide variety of offerings? Tacos, seafood, menudo, and even beer. Plus, there's a nievería inside as well!

The steak tacos are fantastic, and the fajitas are wonderfully prepared and cooked. The interior of the restaurant is lovely, creating a family-friendly and relaxing atmosphere. It’s definitely a great spot to enjoy some delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine.

I had a fantastic experience with both the food truck and the sit-down restaurant. As a Latino with questionable Spanish skills, I was worried about communicating, but the woman who helped me was incredibly patient and understanding, even when I gave her conflicting requests more than once—she made me feel at ease! There was also a gentleman cleaning the outdoor dining area, and he did a great job keeping everything tidy and prepared for the next guests. Overall, the food and service were excellent, and I would definitely recommend this place and return myself!
