I don't really know anything about Russian cuisine, so I have to look for some recipes or something and go back for more stuff to try.
I was looking for wine from Moldova for gifts, and I was so glad to find a nice selection in Yasha From Russia. It was a decent ride from where I live, but they had what I needed, their prices were reasonable and their employees helpful. In addition, the store has a wonderful variety of international foods available. I'd go shopping.
What a great resource! The guy in the Deli was very friendly. Very open to questions. It was our first time and we felt very welcome. I have a bunch of dried and cured meat and they were all very delicious! They have bread, alcohol and cheese, candy and meat and wine. It's a whole market. I recommend every foodman to check this Russian food wonderland!
One, if not the best European deli in Phoenix, AZ. You have an amazing selection of conned, well-kept, filled traditional Eastern Central European foods, great dry goods such as super delicious onion crackers and fantastic Deli meat (better than all Fry's or large supermarket deli) we go there especially for Hungarian Kolbasz and Pick salami, the best salami brand in the world. Great service and family owned, this Deli / market deserves your support, and your body deserves this food!
Enjoy all the different ethnic foods! Love their Mother Goose liver spread and fresh baked rye bread. Just wish they could be closer to us!
