Needless to say just like other people who experienced his arrogant act, we will no longer be shopping from foodery.Edit: Recently seen something similar happen to someone else while I was walking on bridge st, I guess the owner’s disrespectful and childish acts still continues.
Unfortunately, I waited at 9 (when they open) for 30 minutes for someone to show up and open the shop. Kind of disappointing and unprofessional for a business to open that late. I also know others who have had similar experience. Honestly I am not sure how their sandwiches are. The shop itself is nice, with a good amount of snacks/foods.
Great beer selection!! Can be a bit pricey but a great local store!!
The place makes decent sandwiches, but I will not be back. It wasn’t terribly busy, though it wasn’t empty, but it took 30 minutes before I finally got my basic Diablo sandwich. As I sat waiting for my food, I watched the two guys making the sandwiches and one of them kept touching his head and pulling up his pants with the plastic gloves he was wearing to make the food. The whole time he did not get a different pair of plastic gloves, just kept wearing the same ones and repeatedly touching his head and pants to pull them up. I sat there hoping he wasn’t the one that made my food and luckily, the other guy who understands you’re not supposed to do that, was the one who made my sandwich. But yeah, the sandwich tasted OK, however, not nearly good enough for me to bother stopping here ever again. They should also get an intercom or something because if you’re sitting at a table, you can’t hear them call out the number for your order, which means that you have to wait by the counter with no idea how long it’s going to be for your sandwich to finally be finished. Oh, and every time i’ve been here, the cashier has been rude. Like i was bothering her when i tried to pay. If it’s such an issue to pay for what I ordered, invest in a self check out kiosk and fire the cashier.
Love this place just has the best vibes and some of the best people working here. Plus they have great food !!!!
