This is my first time visiting the Sweet Potato Cafe after reading previous reviews. I was very pleased with the customer service and the food items listed for lunch. The way the food was presented on the plates was great. Note: I was looking at the other customers plates to see what they ordered. The fried chicken salad sweet potato hummus chips were very tasty. Also enjoyed the sweet potato pie! Will be coming back will refer others!
What a hidden gem this is!! I was in Stone Mountain for the day, with family, and we found this place on Google. Everything on the menu sounded good, so we went for lunch. They did not disappoint! Everything was excellent!! Shrimp and grits, breakfast bowl, fried chicken and waffles, and O.M.Gosh the sweet potato biscuits are fantastic!!! We also ordered every dessert available, yummmm. The key lime pie was so smooth and the peach cobbler was delicious! The service was great, as well! Everyone was so nice and down to earth. All around wonderful business. We will be back.
What a gem of a place! The building was built in 1912 and they’ve done a lovely job of preserving the history while adding tasteful (gorgeous) updates to create a welcoming space with satisfying food. So good! The sweet potato biscuits are incredible, the rest of the food is solidly delicious, and the people are delightful.
Absolutely charming! Sweet Potato Cafe is a gem of a mom-and-pop spot that truly stands out. The cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the food is both comforting and delicious. I had the pleasure of being served by Mahogany, whose warmth and attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. If you're looking for a place with genuine hospitality and mouthwatering dishes, Sweet Potato Cafe is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
