23 And Club - Phuket

I created this account just to give this place a great review. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon 23 while wandering in the town adjacent to our resort. It was an amazing meal, great atmosphere, and an unbeatable location right beside the lake. The service was fantastic, and Jiggs and Gee took amazing care of us. The tuna appetizer was great, and my main of pineapple fried rice was so delicious. I would go back in a heartbeat and was so sad we only discovered 23 on our last night in town. Go here! You won't regret it.

23 is one of those places that you will feel you were lucky to find, if you are actually lucky enough to find it. 23 is tucked away from the main road, and easily missed, although one found it is really a nice restaurant. Located in the area of Boat Avenue the busiest zone around the Lagoon that serves the inland Villas and Hotels around Layan and Bang Tao beaches. This area is quite run down in parts and yet has a few reasonable dining options, but most are still very casual, so finding a place that actually has comfortable chairs , white table cloths and a nice setting was a lucky find. Unfortunately it was only us and one other table that found this restaurant on the night of our visit, and they left shortly after our arrival. Anyway we were allowed to choose our own table and naturally selected what they call The Royal Table, which is set under a Metal Pagoda Arch and was lovely, with a direct view to the centre glass house building. Food was good, I enjoyed a nice steak and my wife some Fresh Fish with Pad Thai, all of which were well presented and tasty. Service was efficient but it should be there was more staff than customers. 23 also has a Club Area which was not open that night and really only appears to be used as a function area. 23 deserves to be busier than it is, bit if walking around the area you are more likely to fall into another place, but do try to find 23 it was well worth it.

I like this restaurant. Because have beutiful place and good location for dinner if who like calmness place i recoment here . Food is very good have many menu and look good and delichios. Have europein food and thai food. And staff is very good. For drinking my wine and asking about food, how it good or no goodhas always been with me thanks .good service for me

We were drawn in by the Owner standing outside the Restaurant. Location and view of the Lagoon is lovely, and Staff are friendly, but the Food itself is of poor quality and does not justify the higher pricing. Pizzas and all Thai Food we’re unavailable, we therefore chose the Wagyu Burgers which were tasteless and the Chicken Burgers used reformed chicken. Owner was aggressive when challenged and suggested we “go to McDonalds instead” wise words for all my friend. I would avoid and my first negative review ever.

We had an amazing evening. The location is good overlooking the water. The service was fantastic, friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious. All in all we were very happy and will definitely return to this restaurant.
