La Montagnola Di Petrotta Efrem

Borgetto is a 42 minute ride from Palermo, but don’t let that stop you from going to this wonderful restaurant situated on the top of a mountain with floor to ceiling glass doors that slide open showing the beautiful valley below. The view was incredible! We are big eaters and chose several starters, mains and desserts and also ordered wine. All incredibly delicious! Unfortunately I can only recommend that you try as many dishes as possible because they were all that good. You can’t go wrong with any dish. The atmosphere is lively but not loud with beautiful yet a little rustic decor, the service impeccable and prompt. I wish we had this restaurant in our home town. We would be regulars!

It’s a bit out of the way and once found it’s high up on a hill thus having a nice view. It’s a fish and seafood restaurant not long refurbished as per first thought. Staff excellent and very helpful. Food 10+ for cooking time, aroma, freshness and taste. Very nice and reccomendable...

He ate well. sin for very small portions.

Cibo, personal and sublime post

We had an amazing meal at La Montagnola. It was off season, so we were the only diners in the restaurant and the staff was friendly and we made our way through the language issues. The seafood was exceptional and the portion was huge we thought we were ordering an appetizer but it was way too much food. The decor is modern and bright, more like something you would find in a big city, but it was a nice change of pace. The only exception was our choice of wine that we were concerned had turned it was really apricot in color. We kept the bottle and learned it was an organic orange wine.
