Trattoria Da Massimino - PIANORO

We recently went to Loiano for the weekend with friends and searched hard for a couple of really good restaurants to enjoy throughout the short period we were there for. After much research I opted for Trattoria da Massimo and I have to say I don't regret it for a minute as we had one of the best meals we ever experienced there. The restaurant is small and family run and an excellent sign was that it was full of Italian patrons a sure sign of a good meal! The food is exquisite, the choice of wine excellent, the ambiance perfect and the service couldn't be better. We certainly hope to return in the very near future!

Very elegant menu , we had a pleasant lunch. much more than pasta! So the foto was only i choose it) Deserves a visit for lunch or dinner).

I recently tried this new place in Pianoro, and I was amazed by how great the food and the location were. It was an anniversary dinner, so the people I was with decided to pay for us so we took a lot of items from the menu..! First of all, the service is excellent, very professional. Second of all, the food is just pure quality and different flavors... an explosion of pleasure for food! There is a choice of vegetarian plates, and fish of meat. The portions are not too big, and for this reason it's easy to not feel full and keep enjoying the other plates.

We were in Livergnano in 14th August 2013 on the way of Bologna to Firenze. We especially did not use motorway to see the countryside of Italy. This trattoria is running with the family and owner Gulious was very nice to us despite we arrived in the restaurant after 15.00pm . We had a great food indeed which were homemade real Italian kitchen. Tortellini,cecina,and scrambled egg on the bread with truff were delicious .The owner was very kind and offered us nice frozen yogurt and some apperetives.We like this trattoria a lot and we suggest people if they are around Livergnano or on the way of Bologna.Thanks
