Pho Saigon - Pickering

Have order food from here for years especially the Red Thai Curry. Have always love the flavour and received a good quantity of food. However was extremely disappointed with the quantity of the Thai Curry this time (shown in the picture). There was less than half a container of curry for $16

I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. Last month, I had an incredibly frustrating experience with a rude waitress that made me feel extremely upset. I wasn't feeling well and decided to eat there, but she messed up my order. When I politely asked if she could correct it, she flatly refused. I then ordered something else, but after waiting about 45 minutes with no update, I inquired about my food only to be told it wasn’t ready. In the end, I paid my bill, but my food never came. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through this. The service is appalling, so if you do decide to visit, go when you're not hungry. To top it all off, they advertise support for small businesses, but with service like this, it's hard to see how they deserve it.

At first, I thought these occurrences were just isolated incidents, but my hope diminished with each new attempt. On two separate occasions after that, we faced multiple problems with our orders, which left us feeling very dissatisfied. Unfortunately, this ongoing pattern of issues has led us to decide to stop ordering from Pho Saigon altogether. I wish I could say that this restaurant has both good and bad days in terms of food quality and service, but honestly, it seems they have consistently missed the mark on several occasions.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. I've been a regular since my childhood, but I’ve noticed that the quality of the appetizers has significantly declined. The fried spring rolls have gotten smaller, and they no longer serve a generous portion of squid tentacles. On the bright side, the soup is still delicious. The rice dishes, however, can be inconsistent.

The phở was missing its characteristic aroma and flavor. The Bún Bò Huế tasted more like Bún Riêu broth. However, the service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I would consider returning if the dishes were more authentic.
