Paseo San Miguel - Pico Rivera

Authentic, tasty, mouthwater, gives me flashbacks to El Salvador... I moved away from Cali, but every time I visit, this place is a prerequisite. Clean, friendly, quick service.

Great place for El Salvadorian food. The service is tops. Very friendly staff. The prices are amazing. Please don't raise them like any other place. The interior is friendly and beautiful. The colors are bright and the mural is perfect.

Delicious Pupusa and Caldo. I was sick over the weekend and needed a good balance to lift me up. This place didn't fail. I ordered before the time and worked perfectly. My food was ready. And the cashier who gave me my order had the most pleasant and friendly attitude, greeted me with care and love. She would be an important reason to come back from the food. Nothing beats good service and good food if you don't feel too good. Only the parking and road repairs are going straight. This is not the fault of the restaurant only the improvement of the community so go with time. Enjoy!

On Sunday at 12:30 there were a good number of people waiting to sit. The host took my name and called me when a table was ready that lasted about 15 minutes. We ordered immediately and our food was in approx. 10-15 minutes, which is understandable due to the time it takes to make pupusas and the number of cartridges there. The agua de horchata was yummylicious and I tried a Pupusa de queso con loroco, one by carne asada con queso, and a revuelta. And they were all very good. I ordered some to go and they took about 30 minutes. You need more staff and are promotional job opportunities. Besides the comprehensible slow service, everything was on the point

We stayed at an Airbnb in Pico Rivera for a couple of days, went to breakfast Sunday am, we were the 1st ones when they open. We weren’t sure of how it was going to go since the location is not in the main plaza and the parking is limited. We sat down and right away a server came and she was very friendly, pretty smile and attentive, yes even on a Sunday at 9am. I didn’t get her name since they don’t have a name tag. The food started to be served and it looked good, good side portions. The food tested good and the pupusas had lots lots of cheese and loroco, we will definitely stop by again if we’re ever in Pico Rivera.
